Since install my spanky new 9800 Pro I had not played Raven Shield. Last
night I loaded it up and all was fine till I tried to enter the mission,
then I get a monitor pop up saying I'm out of sync.
I tried changing refresh rates, screen res and using a 9600 Pro, but none
would work. Looked on the RS boards and I see it is a problem with new
cards. Has anyone resolved or been able to play this game with 9800 Pro?
All advice welcome

Yea, there is a way to set custom refresh rate in the game by editing
an ini file. But I can't remember which file it is. Look it up on
Google. Another way you can force a higher refresh rate is to run
"dxdiag" and under More help tab and then the override button set your
custom refresh rate. But the game should still run for you because by
default it will use 60hz and that shouldn't be out of scan range for
any monitor.
