[SOLVED] Raising 1.2v slots to 1.35V for a 1.35v RAM 3200MHz on a 2400MHz CPU

I've got a motherboard with 2x1.2V RAM slots and a i5-7500 CPU that supports up to 2400MHz at 1.35V (DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V ). I recently bought a dual-kit 1.35V 3200MHz RAM.

Does anyone know whether raising the voltage on the RAM slots from 1.2V to 1.35V could have an increase in performance? Or does this simply not matter, since the CPU supports a max of 2400MHz anyway?
 
Solution
It says it supports XMP though, so try that out. I5-7500 might be limiting you to 2400Mhz, if so, still better than nothing.

List the motherboard model.

No reason you shouldn't be able to run the memory at 3200Mhz, unless it is an OEM board that doesn't support XMP profiles.

If it can only run at 2400Mhz and 1.2 volts works, that is preferable, less power wasted and less heat in the CPU memory controller.

It states 2133 MHz memory, but Task Manager states it's using 2400 MHz.
