raising the dead

I have a character who has 10 druid levels and one cleric level and is
currently in the Beggar's Nest. She's picked up 4 Raise Dead spells and one
Resurrect spell and has tried to use them on a few corpses. Trouble is,
they aren't working. She's obviously the right class to use them, so I can
only assume I'm using them on the wrong things. Where in that area might I
be able to use them?

on a dead henchman, or if in a mp game another dead player. You just wasted
them tryin to raise sum random corpse.

I've always wondered, how do you raise a dead henchman when they respawn
back at the temple as soon as they die?

You can't raise random corpses.

They don't in HotU.

In HotU, they just stay where they were killed. This would be the
perfect time to use a resurrection spell...

On dangerous undead. Raise Dead and Resurrection are useless for their
primary purpose in the NWN Original Campaign, but, like all healing
spells, they affect undead in the opposite of the way they affect the
living, so they have a chance of instantly destroying any undead you
cast them on.

Ah, so that's why I started getting those spells at the mo, cos of all those
zombies about. Thanks muchly. I don't have any of the expansions, so I
knew it wasn't to bring my henchman back, but couldn't figure out how they
COULD help. I'll probably have some fun with them now
