Can't we just finally get stacked memristors?

According to Martin Fink while CTO at HP those were going to replace everything from SRAM to tape.

He became then CTO at Western Digital to make flash storage smarter via RISC-V extensions, a David Patterson brainchild.

Mr. Koduri's job was to make AMD and then Intel lead in GPGPU compute, with diminishing returns.

Some people seem to be better at having ideas than at making them work...

Hopefully this turns out better than some of his previous GPU related work, ie: "Vega64 aka the Poor Volta fiasco, Ponte Vecchio delayed multiple times due to being extremely over complicated, first gen ARC multiple delays and horrible drivers for anything older than dx12...
