[SOLVED] RAM 3600Mhz with AMD Ryzen 7 5800x

Hi i have a Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI) MB updated to lastest Bios version and a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and Memory
G.Skill Trident Z RGB DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-3600, CL16 1.35V.
every time i try to use xmp profile 1 the PC will restart and does not open for while with series of Restart operations then gives me the message in the Video and i cannot use my memory on its rated Freq. 3600
so do you have any idea what to do

In which slots out of the 4 are the RAM dimms installed? The video quality is really low (240p) so i cant tell.

At 57 seconds I can see it says the RAM is in A1 & B1. On page 1-5 of the English instructions it says when using 2 dimms it should be A2 & B2. Try moving the RAM.

ASROCK / ASUS motherboards usually have problems if you install the RAM at A1/B1 slots thats why you should always read the motherboard manual for the recommended RAM configuration.

It’s a very common mistake when you haven’t come across it before. I’ve made worse mistakes

Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!! For months I've tried to get my DDR4 3600 to run at 3600 with my Ryzen 7 and ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII motherboard, all without luck and having to resort to 3200. Not once did I think I might have populated the wrong memory slots but saw this post today and thought I'd best check to be sure and hey presto moved from the A1 / B1 to A2 / B2 lots, selected XMP in BIOS and booted no problem at 3600. Thanks you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
