Ram 4gb but only 2 36 gb in use?

Hello,
I am using Acer Aspire 5745 Mode with i3core and 500GB with 2 GB but recently i have upgraded it to 4 GB from the day one its shows 4GB RAM but usage is 2.36GB with BIOS version 1.8 (Latest one) I am using win 7 32 Bit Ultimate Edition OS Is there any settings need to be changed?

Hi there yohanbrg,

U have a x32bit Windows and your system tops out at 3GB or so, minus the video memory.
