Ram 6gb available,4,95 usable

Hello everyone,yesterday i bought a new CPU to my PC,it is i7 860 i know it-s not a big one but it was huge upgrade for me since i had i5 650,so what basicly happend is that i used to have a 6gb of ram and all 6 were usable,but after the "upgrade" i had only 2gb usable,so i tryed with changing ram positions on motherboard and i got all 6 gb of ram but only 4,95 were usable,i am wondering why is this happening,+when 1,5gb goes to system usage i get 3,5 gb for myself,its terrible it causes lot of games that i play to loose fps even i got a better cpu.

Windows reserves a portion of your ram, and thats why its not usuable.

But when i go on task manager it says that 1,5 gb od ram is being used for system and that things and that i have only 3,5 left
