[SOLVED] RAM ADVICE NEEDED - Apacer vs Kingston

Hi fellow Toms, given 2 brand of similar spec RAM, which 1 should I go for? My mobo has 2 slot tho.

Choice 1: Kingston HyperX DDR4 2666Mhz 4GB - 25 USD
Choice 2: Apacer Panther DDR4 2666Mhz 4GB - 20 USD
Bonus: Kingston HyperX DDR4 2666Mhz 8GB - 40 USD

The stick will pair with my existing Kingston Value 4GB RAM.

Specs:
Pentium G4400
RX 570 4GB
H110M DS2

Getting new ram to be 100% compatable with existing ram is tough.
I would buy another identical stick to what you have.
8gb should be enough for games.

If you want all new ram, the kingston 8gb kit is what id pick. Kingston is a good brand.

I see, what will happen if the RAM is not fully compatible??

The computer will not boot at all untill one of the unmatched sticks is removed.
Mixing ram is not a good idea. I would buy another identical stick to what you have.
