Hello, I recently got a Nividia GTX 570 but my computer beeps when i turn it on. Im pretty sure it is my ram but i want to make sure. Is 8 gigs of ram enough for the graphics card?

Solution
Try putting the RAM in different ports, check if CPU cable is plugged in (also the CPU itself is at its place), make sure that the video card is at its place.

There is a pattern to the beeps. You can find on Google what the pattern means or list it here if you cannot find it. (e.g. Google for: 2 long beeps 2 short beeps 2 long beeps pc).

It might be because the card isn't fully installed into the slot. Also, make sure the RAM is inserted fully too. I had this issue before where it beeped and I forgot to insert RAM fully.
