Question RAM and Laptop Compability

A few things I would mention here:

It appears this is a Thinkpad model. Make sure that you can actually open it properly without tearing anything up, to then be sure the RAM isn't soldered and also to be sure there is actually a second slot also. It is not uncommon at all for laptops to be less than serviceable these days. Even if you see "1 of 2" in the RAM section of Task Manager, a lot of the manufacturers don't solder the second connector onto the board anymore.

Second, Ali Express is a real gamble.

Crucial has a pretty good RAM compatibility tool on their website which should at least get you the type/speed it works with, which gets to the last point that often you cannot actually OC/XMP RAM on a laptop.

Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 460
it takes DDR3 laptop RAM, the ram isn't soldered, think-pads are good like that, but if I remember correctly this one only has one RAM slot (I could be mistaken, it's been a year or two since I last took one apart) so you would likely have to find a bigger single RAM stick than the one that you have. This also depends on what size the laptops motherboard will accept

[edit] reviews a a great resource with this kinda thing, a quick check reveals:

the cheapest version was sold with 4GB DDR3, they reviewed one with nearly your CPU and 8gb of RAM, so the mobo can at least handle 8gb, there is another review that says the most expensive one came with 16gb, but that was with a different CPU so it's anyone's guess weather yours could take 16gb? it would be helpful to know how much RAM you have at the moment, if you have 4 you can definitely upgrade to 8, you would need to buy one single 8gb DDR3 laptop RAM stick, not what you have linked.

YouTube is your best friend with things like this, the yoga 460 is a tricky machine to strip down, but it's still not as hard as some newer laptops, this guy upgrades the RAM to 16gb, I don't think he says what CPU he has (I didn't watch it, just skipped to the end) and he doesn't show the bios recognizing the new ram, but at least you can see the strip-down and replacement process:

and it does indeed only have one ram slot

if you have 4gb you can upgrade to this:
