i have a P4 2.0A (400Mhz)(which overclocks well from what I've seen) and 1Gb 266DDR ram

when i go into bios and set th fsb to 112 (the ddr clock is then changed automatically to just under 300) this works fine 2.0 @ 2.25.

if i up the fsb to 113 it doesn't pass the post screen (the ddr clock is changed automatically to just over 300).
I did try upping the voltage, no difference.
is this because the the ddr clock is over 300 and the memory wont support it? if so can you lower the clock with out lowering the FSB? also is keeping the ddr running at just under 300 damaging to the memory?

ok i found out that i should change the FSB to RAM ratio but how do you do this cant seem to find it in bios, is there another name for it?

Overclocking the FSB means overclocking the entire computer's bus and not just the RAM and CPU, but also PCI frequency (stock 33) and AGP frequency (stock 66). Check to see if you can change the FSB:AGP😛CI ratio in your BIOS. 100:66:33 is stock, at 112MHZ FSB you're at 112:74.6:37.3 . At 113MHZ you're at 113:75.3:37.6 - That might have put it over the edge.
But I'm just guessing here, it could be something else.

Got a nice overclocked overvolted system to keep you warm at night? That's great. Guess I'll have to settle for a woman...
