Motherboard: MSI Z87-G45 GAMING

First Set of RAM 2x4gb: G.Skill F3-12800CL9-4GBXL
Second Set of RAM 2x4gb: Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

Timings are the same, they're compatible, but it seems like they are running at 1333MHz and I am sure both sets are 1600MHz.

So how should I proceed with my Motherboard to go on the BIOS.. etc.. so it puts them on the right speed. I know that many threads have this question(s), but just to be sure, if it's totally possible to do it with me, I wish to do it, if someone would give me every step so I don't mess up, I would highly appreciate it <3

Solution
Xmp will do everything for you. His suggestion to just change the speed to 1600 won't. There are other settings that will change to get rated speeds. Xmp will do all of that for you.

Alright so let me get this right:
I get into BIOS, find a XMP thing, enable it, which may fix the memory speed.
Or manually set the speed?

Cuz the BIOS for my motherboard seems confusing but I'll get around it, and it's my first time doing something like this so I don't just want to go there and figure out myself which may just make me reluctant and not do it or think I'll mess it up, is it as simple as just getting there, enabling XMP and I see the speed change itself or do I still manually set the speed to 1600MHz and there I go?

Alrighty, enabled it and it seems to be running at the right speed now according to Task Manager. Thank you 🙂
