iv been wanting to do some testing with different amounts of ram to see how much of a difference 8gb actually does.
i have pcmark06, but i didn't find a memory benchmark. i was thinking of running all the tests and comparing them.
i was also thinking un/compressing a few gb's and recording the time it took; but what format should i use (does it make much of a difference?)
maybe even making a "huge" model in 3dmax and comparing render time.
maybe encoding movies to avi
is there something i can do with photoshop?
how would i turn page filing off in xp/vista (i also wanted to test differences between the two [both 64bit], with page filing on and off)
or is there just a simple program i can use? any suggestions?
