To answer your question directly: You're right, if your mobo only supports 3466 max (keep in mind the memory controller is on the CPU, so that also has to be able to push that high), then you'd have to slightly de-tune a 3600MHz kit (the difference between 3466 and 3600 is essentially nothing). Unless the price is super close though, I'd just go with a 3000 or 3200MHz kit.

Egypt. I linked to it because it shows the specs in detail, unlike websites in my country. I just wanted to know if it'd work on my Mobo.
