Question I can't get the RAM to run at 3200Mhz ?

Ram: PVS416G320C6K (Hynix)
Mobo: H610M DDR4 REV 1.2
CPU: I3 12100F
GPU: Gtx 960

So this is the problem, i can't boot with xmp and manually just got 2800 16 20 20 40 64 and i was able to boot 1 time at 3200 after using xmp on Easy Tune, obviously after a restart it won't boot again.

Any suggestion?

1. Yeah, that's exactly my kit ( i know it's not on QVL from H610M but it's on QVL from Patriot for my Mobo so i tought it should work, and, it did for 1 time atleast).

2. I can enable XMP on bios but won't boot until cmos clean or wait and load default after a warning.

3. F29, i think is lastest. (i had the first version and F28 too, cause in that moment F29 was not an official release)

4. I used Easy Tune + Real Memory Timing (On Bios) as a desperate attempt and it worked, 1 time, with no bsod or inestability, but, i restarted, entered in bios to see te actual settings that Easy Tune used, then exit without save and it won't boot again.

And even if you can't help me on this one, thank u, this is the first time someone actually answered me, I really appreciate that!

It’s the motherboard QVL you have to go with not the RAM manufacturer.

I understand, i just tought, oh my mobo it's on patriot QVL, it's fine right?, and, well, i had another Ram who actually wasn't on the motherboard QVL and it worked with xmp, but these two no.
In addition one time I could make the ram work on 3200 correctly, so i tought that would be possible to do it again.

You can just get lucky but RAM can be quite fickle.

Yeah, these past two months where a weekly try and don't figure out how to solve it. I know this couldn't not have other solution than buy other ram kit, but, it sucks, in my country these ram are 50$ usd, and there is no alternatives on 3200mhz on that price

What are the gains for RAM speed on 12th gen intel between 3000-3600MHz? I know RAM speed is important for Zen due to the infinity fabric but I didn’t think intel was as sensitive

the problem is i can't event go up to 2800, and, well i think you could realize that difference, for example, on mice latency, there is a noticeable difference between 2133 and 2600, and that one time i could go up to 3200 it's was like 1 step further on that theme.

I’ve just had a look and from 2933 there’s basically no difference in performance. If you can get a cheaper kit that’s over 2933 with decent timings maybe look at that?
