Ram change?

Right, basically Ive got 3gb of pc6400 800mhz value ram, no brand etc. Now I was wondering what would be the best ram to upgrade to, and if it would be worth it. I do only have vista 32bit though, so im not sure if it will run more than 3gb.

You might see a slight improvement going with faster RAM but not much. The biggest difference would be seen in benchmarks which mean very little in day to day operation of the machine. What RAM do you have and what are your timings? If you don't know then download and run CPUZ and click the memory tab and it will tell you.

Right, it's DDR2 pc6400, timings:
5-5-5-18
DRAM frequency: 400mhz
Command rate 2T

I dont know why it says its only 400mhz, it should be 800...

It's DDR (Double Data Rate) and CPUZ identifies it at it's base clock speed which is 400. Your timings are good and you won't see any improvement going with different RAM.
