For some reason, my computer is reading my ram as channel # single, according to CPU-Z.
it is also telling me that i have 8 GB of ram, which I do, but Windows is only reading 4gb, or one stick.
When CPU-Z used to say channel # Dual, windows would read all 8 GB of my ram.
How do i fix this so it is always being read?
My motherboard is a Gigabyte F2A85x-UP4.

So u used to able read full 8 gb of ram and dual, but sometimes it fails and only read one stick....?

Try just plug one stick and run memtest for couple of cycle see if it detect error....(for both stick)

If there is no error try swap the stick slot from 1-3 to 2-4 and see if it work....
