Hello.

I am fairly new to this I'v been trying to overclock my ram speed to 2800 whenever I do it in the bios and save the settings Task manager and HWiNFO64 say its only running at 1400MHz and I have no idea why. Like I said before I am very new to this.

My specs:
Motherboard: MSI B450M GAMING PLUS
CPU:Amd Ryzen 5 2600
GPU:RTX 2060
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200
PSU:CORSAIR CX Series 750W

Solution
DDR=Double Data Rate so 1400x2=2800.

Just wondering why 2800 if your memory is rated for 3200? With that motherboard you should just need to make sure the memory is in the correct slots (usually A2/B2) and enable XMP in the BIOS. If that doesn't work then you may need to update the motherboard BIOS.
