OK,

I have no clue what the difference is and what is better. If you look at some different kinds of RAM and they both are PC2-6400 but one is 4-4-4-12 and the other is 5-5-5-10. Which one is faster? Why?

Wouldn't they be the same b/c they are both PC2-6400?!? WOW I am confused but that sometimes doesn't take much hahaha!

Your inputs please!

The Memory speed(mhz) is how fast the car goes. The memory timings (latency) are how quickly the driver can react to corners and braking, etc.

If you want a better explanation, just google 'Memory timings' and or 'memory latency'... That'll probably help you.

Don't mind wusy. He's probably too busy doing unthinkable things to a sheep.

Depends what you mean by speed. They have the same bandwidth, but lower timings means less latency, which is good.
