Ram Clocking Stuff

Hi i just bought some Ballistic Sport 8 GB set ram. And i was going to put my set of ram in another pc. The other pc has 1600mhz but my ram has 1866mhz so will the motherboard downclock the 1866 to 1600 or will it not work

What is the other ram? It most likely will adjust it automatically.

i havent been able fully look at the ram

But dont Intel processors just auto clock it do the speed that the processor can support
