Ram Comparability Questions (Need to buy some)

I'm trying to buy ram for my older PC with an intel core 2 quad q6600, and an Asrock LGA 775 motherboard (which supports DDR2). On the ram page it states 2GB DDR2 for AMD cpu and motherboard. As far as I knew ram was universal between Intel and AMD. So if I buy this ram will it work with my intel machine?

Your RAM link doesn't bring any thing up to speak of, but from the URL 800 DRAM DDR2 so should be fine, your mobo can take 800 in up to 2x4GB. Should be good to go 😉
