Kingston Technology KHX13C9B1B/4 HyperX Series 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM Memory Module - Black

I want this to go with my current Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 XMS3 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 1333 Mhz CL9 Performance Desktop Memory Module

would they run in dual channel because i know latency should match but i cant find the timings for the kingston

my motherboard does support 1600mhz, but (OC) according to the motherboard how do i do this and can i damage the RAM? would they both go to 1600?

You can always damage your ram from overclocking it, changing the timings and that isn't all the bad but I've noticed that most 1333 ddr3 don't really want to go to much over their 1333. and I'm guessing you are looking for an increased gaming performance which you will see a 0% increase other than benchmark tests. unless you have a apu, imo just buy yourself a 4gb or 8gb kit that runs at 1600

OK it seems a lot of people are saying the same thing that theirs little performance increase

alright but what about in dual channel? i already have the corsair one, will the kingston work, whats its latency timings?

thx for the response. but i dont have the money to be experimenting with the RAM, and than buying another.

anyway i looked at my motherboard it says that the memory has to be identical in brand aswell. in that case should i get this RAM, or get another corsair for another £12 and utilize the dual channel???
