Ram compatability question

Hello I have a gateway nv52l15u with the stock 4gb ram. I have two sticks of this ram from a Lenovo G500s. Will it work in the gateway?

If it fits in the ram slot properly there shouldn't be any harm in trying it. If the ram is incompatible it just won't boot up. if that the case you can just take them out.

Those RAM sticks will function just fine in your laptop. They are completely compatible.
