RAM Compatability with old build

My PC has the following RAM: G.Skill F3-1600C11D-16GIS (I have 2 dual sticks: 8Gx2). I want to upgrade my RAM but I can only find in the store the following: G.Skill F3-1600C11S-8GIS (not a dual stick but I want two of them: 2X8Gx1). As you can see the brand is the same, the speed is the same, the memory sum for each stick is the same, DDR3 of course but I'm not sure if it is compatible and will work good, especially because its no longer a dual stick.
Is it compatible with my current build?

We can not guarantee compatibility of separate kits, but being the same module type there is a good chance.

So you don't recommend doing so? Do you think I should search the internet and order the exact same kit?
