Ram compatibility as kit

If i buy 2 ram of same specifications but from different stores , will it work as a ram kit , or will i get any compatibility issue with that ?

It is for my ryzen5 2400g build.

They sell ram in kits for a reason. You would be taking a gamble. I would not do it.. just get a kit and if you are doing a Ryzen build go with some good 3000+ ram speed especially if you plan to use the integrated GPU in the processor.
