Typically Ryzen will prefer single rank/high frequency memory. Ripjaws V is a very popular pick among ryzen builders. Timings do not have nearly as significant an impact, so get whatever is fastest as this will have the greatest impact.

Ryzen also seems to prefer memory featuring samsung B dies, here is a list of those modules

I would go so far as to say you WILL have problems if you consider kits with Hyenix dies, so make sure to check with the memory manufacturer

All that said, i have a 32 gig kit of crucial ballistix elite which is dual rank/micron A-die and i managed to clock it up from 2666 to 2800. Not a big change i know but it runs perfectly fine, plus ive had the kit since my skylake build back in 2016 and dont want to buy more memory. Ram is just ram at the end of the day dont worry too much about it
