Hi

I bought a set of 2x16 3200 GB Dominator RAM from Corsair about 2 years ago. (https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Memory/DOMINATOR®-PLATINUM-32GB-(2-x-16GB)-DDR4-DRAM-3200MHz-C16-Memory-Kit/p/CMD32GX4M2C3200C16)

When I tried to get the same RAM again, it seems they are no longer being produced/sold.

However Corsair offers the following RAM now which seems to be the exact same stick just with a different cooling solution (https://www.corsair.com/de/de/Kateg...r/DOMINATOR-PLATINUM-RGB/p/CMT32GX4M2C3200C16)

Can anyone tell me if these two different RAM sticks are compatible? So i would have 2 of each in my system at the end. Shoud this work?

Thanks,
Chrys

Corsair sticks of ram are the only one, to my knowledge, that have a revision counters on the PCB of ram sticks. There have been people who had to replace a kit because they mixed two kits that had identical specs but different PCB revision numbers. I'd advise on sourcing the same kit and work them in pairs, not two mismatched kits.

Make and model of your motherboard? Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update before performing an SSD/ram upgrade.
