If your PSU has 8-pin connector, then there would absolutely no problem. If it does have only 4 pin connector, then it still *should* work (it is used to power CPU, and since your old board used only 4 pin to power it, it should suffice on new one too), but it would be better to have 8 pin connector.

Agreed. The rule of thumb is that unless RAM is purchased in a kit(2x4GB, 4x4GB, 2x8GB etc.) there is no guarantee they will work right together.

With the timing differences(CL10 vs CL11) that is a red flag that needs to be paid attention to and possibly changed in the BIOS.

Why can't you purchase the original RAM module again?

I don't recommend pairing those modules.

my mobo has 23 ram slot 1 not working ay more. so i thought ill buy a 8 gig for now and when i get another board ill put thme together iamplanning on getting this board "http://www.amazon.in/P8B75-M-BM6635-DPMB-Intel-BROWN/dp/B071W1C6PQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A33CAX2T554U4W" i think ,y i5 -2400 is compatible with this board right ?

Yes, it is compatible with i5-2400 https://www.asus.com/pl/Motherboards/P8B75M/HelpDesk_CPU/

my current board has a cpu power conector of 4 pin but "http://www.amazon.in/dp/B071W1C6PQ?tag=cuelinkss2979-21&ascsubtag=10067CL9255Xj4zova93md000a1702yui" this board has cpu power conector of 8 pin is that a problem?
