Can someone here help with figure out if my mates ram is compatible with his motherboard? I've tried searching and looking at pdf files from gigabyte website and I'm not going to lie it's confused me...
He wanted 32gb corsair vengeance rgb pro 3200mhz cl16 in white
He said him self around £20 and went with two packs of 2x8GB
Part number CMW16GX4M2C3200C16W (16-18-18-36) VERSION 4.32
motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus ultra gaming X470 rev.1
Cpu: Ryzen 5 3600
One website tells me the 2x8gb on its own isn't compatible but his pc runs fine with them, when I put the other 2x8 in it won't boot, I couldn't find this part number on gigabytes ram compatibility pdf, from what I found the exact same ram but in black is compatible? I'm so confused and would extremely appreciate any help!!
