Hi, this is my first question in this site and i come here because i'm getting desperated.

So, i recently bought an Asrock Fatal1ty Z97X Killer motherboard and i encountered a problem, my system freezes randomly for at least 1 second and continue normal, and in gaming it freezes every couple of seconds if i let the pc work at full power, if i limit the framerate at 60 fps, then no freezes. I tried everything, change all pc components, test every bios version of the manufacturer, tried diferent drivers version and nothing helps. I check the voltages in bios and with other programs and are fully stable and good, and it can't be overheat, in gaming my cpu reach 45º and my gpu 55/60º. I talk to a friend and he said to me maybe is a ram incompatibility, i check the compatible ram in asrock page and, there it is, my ram model is not there. My question is, this random freezes in the system and the freezes while gaming can be caused for a incompatible ram? i have my ram before i bought this motherboard, if someone can help me with this... there are my specs:

Motherboard: Asrock Fatal1ty Z97X Killer
CPU: Intel Core i5 4690 3,5GHz (3,9GHz turbo boost)
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1600MHz 4x4GB (16GB)
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 6GB
PSU: EVGA Supernova G2 850w 80+ Gold full modular
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 1TB

P.D In the bios my ram sticks are fully recognized by the bios and the motherboard, and i can apply the xmp 1.2 profile, so that the ram stay at 9-9-9-24 1,5v

Hey kanewolf, thanks for your reply, i already did the memtest over the night and no error found in the sticks, so the ram sticks and the ram slots of the motherboard seems to be fine. Do you think is a incompatibility of the ram with the mb? and i already turn off the xmp profile and nothing changes, but i have to tell you, when i configure an slower speed for the ram, for example from 1600MHz to 1333 or 1066, the pc works better. The motherboard can handle 3200MHz max ram speed and the cpu 1600MHz max ram speed

Yeah, it is, i'm playing with the voltages now, and i found something funny, for g.skill ram in normal cases the voltage is set to 1,5v, i test it at 1,65v and it freezes, but i tried at 1,35v and the pc general performance is much better and stable.

Ok so here's the problem: a month ago i purchase a new psu, because the old one was a total crap, but the new psu smells like burn in the otherboard connector part. So i rma the psu, not only was a pc locking up problem, the cpu cooler constantly up and down his speed, gpu power drops and the 12v rail drops under heavy load.
