Alright so I'm planning to buy a new ram next week and I checked my mobo's QVL list but I was not able to locate the part no. (2400C15D-16GVR) in the list. If the ram is not listed on the list is that a guarantee that the ram is incompatible and will not work?

I am using an Asus Prime B250M-A mobo paired with a g4560 chip.

Solution
No. If the RAM is on QVL, it is guaranteed to work with given motherboard. If the RAM is NOT on QVL, that means it has not been tested and the outcome is unknown. For most new Intel boards it does not matter, as long as you got correct DDR4 it should work, but Ryzen boards are much more picky and it is safer to stick to their QVL.
