Ram compatibility or mem controller issue?

Hi guys, I recently purchased a Asus maximus viii ranger, with a i5 6600k CPU. I keep getting non_page_fault errors and games open for about 20 seconds and close. The ram that came with it is fine and I done memtest86 with no errors. I called tech support from the company I bought it from and they ADV me to RMA the CPU which I was going to send back later today as they thought it could be the memory controller.

I just read up on the RAM I have and it says its compatible for x99 chipset. My motherboard is z150 chipset!? Could this be the root of all my issues?!

Best thing to do here.

Is list the memory by it`s brand name.
Along with all the information found on the sticker or label of the memory you bought.

Then some kind soul will confirm if it is the memory at fault, or you just need to perform a few changes in your bios settings to get it stable.
