anything anyone can think of that might help raise the compatibility between ram sticks.. They are different brands and though the computer boots and runs good. My computer acts a little funny sometimes(Games will crash randomly, Chrome crashes randomly)enough to be a huge nuisance.

I ran more then a few memtest and they come back with no errors.. So i'm at a loss for what to do.

I bought http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820178265 a few years back and they work great together

And i bought one 2g stick from a local retailer, It didn't come in packaging and there aren't and brand names on it(Just says market DDR3 with a logo of a slanted square with an S in the middle of it)

Any ideas?

Solution
So you have 3 sticks - 6GB? Your best bet is just to get a set of 2x sticks at 1333 (preferably 4GB sticks to have 8GB), if you want to try and get these to play, put them in slots 1-2-3 or 2-3-4 with the PNYs in 1-3 or 2-4, go into BIOS and manually set freq to 1333, timings to 8-8-8-24, CR to 2T or 2N, DRAM voltage to 1.6 and the CPU/NB voltage to 1.17
Use Cpuz use the memory tab to read all your ram. Look at it speed and voltage and timing. If the new stick not close return it and try find a ram stick that close to your old ram. You can see if the mb vendor has a new bios update for ram codes and bug fixes.

Type: DDR3 |Channel: Dual
Size :6Gbytes | DC Mode: Unganged
| NB frequency: Changing from 1839.0 to 1841.0 MHz
DRAM frequency: 765.7 mhz to 768.4 Mhz
FSB : DRAM: 3:10
CAS Latency: 9.0 clocks
RAS to CAS delay: 9.0 clocks
RAS precharge: 9 clocks
Cycle Time: 24 clocks
Bank Cycle Time: 34 clocks
command rate: 2T

Theres all the info under memory for CPU-Z

As for the timing, seems as though the two ram sticks time at 6-8-9-8
and the other one is 6-8-9

Also already updated bios to latest update.

Gigabyte 880gma-udh2
AMD phenom II x4 955
6 gigs of ram
Radeon HD 5770
Windows 7
