[SOLVED] Ram compatibility question.

I'm building a new PC with a Crosshair VII Hero and 3900x and was planning on getting this kit of Corsair ram but the QVL for my motherboard doesn't list it as supported. I noticed it uses the same SK Hynix chips as this gskill ram and even the same speed and timings. Would that mean they have the same compatibility? If anyone else is using the Corsair ram let me know if it's working so I can quit worrying.

Go to the corsair web site and access their ram configurator.
Enter your motherboard and you should see a list of supported ram kits.

Sometimes new products arrive that are not on the QVL list which may not get updated.

Thanks for that! I didn't know they had one of those. Apparently the Corsair ram I want is on their list so it should work!
