Question RAM compatibility with motherboard & CPU ?

Hello everybody!

I am in the process of upgrading my desktop computer.
I have already bought a Ryzen 7 7700 and the final parts that I want to order is memory and mobo.

I really like the Kingston FURY Beast 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 because they have the specs that I want and they are low profile memory sticks.

I want to put them in a Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 motherboard.

The goal is to activate the AMD EXPO profile and leave it there.
Will these RAM sticks be compatible and stable?

I have checked the RAM and mobo combination with https://nl.pcpartpicker.com and https://pangoly.com/en and they seem ok.
It’s just that on the official website of the motherboard manufacturer appear only when I select the Ryzen 9000-series CPU option .

I'm guessing that they will work with the Ryzen 7 7700 and the list is not up-to-date,
but I wanted to be sure before ordering the last parts.

Thank you in advance 🙏

That ram kit has AMD's E.X.P.O, you're good to go! Just make sure you're on the latest BIOS after you get POST on your system, clear the CMOS. Once you've installed the OS, enable E.X.P.O in BIOS and you should be good.

Moved thread from Components section to Memory section.

Lutfij thank you for your warm welcome and reassuring me about the compatibility.

And I will also update the BIOS based on your guide.
It’s a good idea to do it on a fresh system.

Thank you once again. 🙏

Ran into compatibility issues after upgrading to faster RAM—turned out my motherboard downclocked it to match the CPU's limits. Tools like CPU-Z helped spot the mismatch, and using a lightweight monitor like Mem Reduct now lets me keep an eye on memory use without overhead.

Just to give an update, got all the parts and finally upgraded my desktop pc.

For Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 I have updated the BIOS to F34a and
I have enabled EXPO Profile #0 (DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36 @1.4V) for Kingston FURY Beast 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 memory.

No issues so far.

It seems that DDR5-6000 with CL30 is the sweet spot for AM5, that’s why I decided to avoid picking faster memory.

Thank you.
