RAM compatibility with Motherboard

Hi,

Is the RAM: G Skill Ares 16GB (2x 8 GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SD (f3 2400c11d 16gab)
compatible with Mobo: Asus Z97 Pro (wifi)
and CPU: Intel i7 4790k ?

Please answer. There is a great deal available (@ 115 USD) for one day and wan to check compatibility.
FYI, my original plan was to buy Corsair Vengence Pro (CMY16GX3M2A2133C11R) 2x18 GB.

For RAM-CPU-Mobo compatibility, you just need to refer whether all three are of same data rate, (i.e., DDR, DDR2 or DDR3 or DDR4). The amount of that motherboard you have supports is 32 GB and you're fine with that G.Skill Ares kit. Go ahead.

If you are buying that RAM for memory based work - where memory is important - like video/photo editing, rendering, 3D applications, then that G.Skill will be aster than the corsair in all ways.
