Ram compatibility with motherboard

Hi everybody!

Today I've received my order with this components ( Chosen by me):

--Intel pentium g4560
-Crucial Ballistix Sport 4GB DDR4 2400MHz CL16 x 2
-Asrock H110M-DVS R3.0
-Corsair VS450 450W
-Asus GTX 1050 2GB OC
-Segeate Barracuda 7200 1 TB

I've recently assembled all of them but when I press the power button, Fans are working, PSU is working, but there is not video signal and any beep at the boot.

I've tried removing RAM and the beeps are there (a loop of 3 long beeps). So I've placed just one RAM module, and the beep disappears. But its all like begining, not video signal, no beeps.

In the asrock h110m product page, there is a Memory support list, and the RAM I buyed is not there. Is this the problem?

I know what's going on. The problem is your CPU. You have a Kaby Lake chip (G4560) running on a Skylake motherboard. Your motherboard needs a Bios update.

Solutions:
1. Ask the shop where you bought it to update Bios
2. Ask a friend for a Skylake chip, so you can update it by yourself.
3. Buy the cheapest Skylake chip on the market to update it by urself.
4. Replace motherboard for a B250 motherboard (there the cpu should work straight out of the box)

And do you think, RAM is a problem? I have a 2400 MHz RAM, and in the product page specifications says :

- Supports DDR4 2133 non-ECC, un-buffered memory

One more thing, In cpu support list appears the g4560, should it not be compatible?

What bios version/date are you using?

Ram should be compatible.

- First Bios version is from September 2016. G4560 was released in January 2017.

In the motherboard there is a chip with this number (P1.10), Is this ther version?

You need 6th Generation Skylake CPU to flash BIOS before a 7th Gen Kaby Lake G4560 will work. A Celeron G3900 is about $40.

If you plug in a 2400mhz stick, it will just run at 2133mhz. But in mostly cases it should work.

I'm having possibly the same problem but I don't get it, where is it written P1.20 is required?
The website says g4560 is supported since P1.10!

Edit: oh wait, I have a P7.10 sticker so that is not my case... right? 😀

In my case it was the Motherboard. I Updated the BIOS with other compatible CPU and that solved my problem.

OK so my problem was the RAM apparently, I tried another one from another computer and it boots.

The store (not Amazon) refused to replace the item as defective because it's not in the AsRock memory support list for this motherboard, can they even do that? I've always knew that was just the list of RAMs they tested, not that something else won't work. In fact I never even looked at that list nor I have built with RAMs listed on those pages for many years...
Is there something I can do to make it work, if even possible?
