Lenovo 330S 151KB laptop has 4GB soldered RAM. Runs at 2133MHz. CL is 10. There is a spare slot available in mobo. Is it possible to use Corsair Vengeance Performance SODIMM CMSX8GX4M1A2400C16 8GB 2400MHz CL16? I understand 2400 will be downgraded to 2133, but could there be any other issues?

According to Lenovo's product site, here, you can add an 8GB stick of ram, to give you a cumulative 12GB of ram. About the frequency at which they will effectively run, I'll say DDR4-2133MHz. Before you go about adding ram to the system, please make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your laptop.

It looks like your specific model/SKU has an i5 8250U, which will support up to DDR4 2400 - but since your soldered on module is running at 2133, you're better off adding another 2133. Adding a stick with a faster transfer rate and slower latency might negatively impact stability, as the system will try to sync the added stick to the soldered one's specs (and consequently, the 2400 stick won't run at 2400).
