RAM compatibilty with my motheroard

I am doing a build and was checking compatibility with my motherboard and RAM and came across a problem. I was looking into buying the G.SKILL Trident X 16GB (2x8GB) model # F3-2400C10D-16GTX and it is not shown on the compatibility list that I downloaded(http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-z97x-gaming-g1-wifi-bk.pdf). it shows that f3-2400C10Q-16GTX is compatible with my motherboard, which if you look, it is just 4x4GB of 2400MHz Trident X. Do you think that I am still going to be able to use this RAM? I don't want to spend almost $200 for this RAM and have it not work. please help!

The list is only a snapshot of what is on the market and 99% of all other ram will work. Gskill does the same and has a snapshot of motherboards so you can check there http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-2400c10d-16gtx but then again I am pretty sure it works.
