Ram compatible with motherboard?

Looking to buy the Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3, and under the specifications it says that the memory standard is DDR4 2133. Is this motherboard compatible with Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz (PC4-25600)? And if so, will the mobo limit the ram speed to 2133?

Yes, it is compatible, but it will reduce the speed to 2133hz as it can not operate at 3200mhz due to chipset limitations.

Best just to stick with 2133 unless planning a mobo upgrade soon
