Dear all,

this is my configuration:

8GB-Kit Crucial Ballistix Sport Series DDR3-1600, CL9
ASUS BW-16D1HT/G Retail Silent
be quiet! STRAIGHT POWER 10 500W CM
Crucial MX100 SSD 256GB (2,5", 7mm)
FRACTAL DESIGN Define R4 Titanium Grey
Gigabyte GA-H97-HD3, Sockel 1150, ATX
Intel Xeon E3-1231v3 Box, LGA1150
MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G, 4GB GDDR5
Seagate Barracuda 7200 1000GB, SATA 6Gb/s
Thermalright True Spirit 120 Rev. A BW
Windows 8.1 64-Bit (SB-Version)

Coming to my question:

Windows is already using 60% of RAM and when I play games like NBA2K or FIFA, I sometimes feel a lack of RAM.
That's why I am thinking of adding 8GB. Would you go for 4x2 GB or 2x8? I am not clear about the pros and cons.

Secondly, do you think that CPU is really enough for this kind of games?

Many thanks for your answers.

Doesn't really matter, since you already have one 8gb kit, buy another 8gb kit. Do keep in mind that you do need two of the same RAM kits.
Setup is good, but I would recommend upgrading to 16GB RAM. That's quite the minimum you need nowadays. Also for FIFA.

If you want to upgrade your CPU, you probably need to get a new motherboard and RAM as well, due to the unavailability of 4th gen intel cpus. But if you can find one, upgrade to a i7 4790k for example.
