Hi guys, trying out a new build for my computer using a ddr3 memory stick which consequently went on to fry three of my motherboards that I tested it on. The motherboards are all of different branding and processors but were compatible with this memory stick. They all will boots but does not post and the screen remains black. All three computers will turn on and off on its own in a endless cycle. Are the CPUs salvageable if my motherboard is shorted? There are no visible burn marks on my motherboard or darkened areas

When positing a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. In this case, that should be three sets of specs to rule out any anomalies in said setups.

Please list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

As for the ram, were they mix and matched? It'd be a good idea to parse a link to the ram you got and perhaps some images of the stick of ram if the links and the actual product vary.

which consequently went on to fry three of my motherboards
Make and models of the boards? Mind sharing how you concluded that the boards were fried?
