[SOLVED] ram ddr3 HYNIX DUAL CHANEL Compatibility

Solution
Thank you. I believe the ram you have found should work with one caveat--if there are chips only on one side it may not work according to the information here:
It's enough that it's DDR3 and it's should work. I can't find QVL for that laptop so can't be 100% sure.
what is QVL? I have my laptop open, can I give you the information you need? can you see the image on the ram description page, is there a code on the ram, can it be useful? The code is this: hmt351s6cfr8c-pb na aa

QVL= Qualifying Vendor List, a list of RAM modules tested by laptop or motherboard manufacturers and certified to work with them.

Thank you. but are you referring to the chips of the mounted ram? I see that the mounted one has the chips, both on one side and on the other side, exactly it has 4 chips in front and 4 chips in the back. Online, I found a ram like mine:

That should work if that is the exact module you get--unfortunately, a lot of sellers don't put the actual picture of the product on amazon, so you might still have trouble.

You can use only one, but you might lose any dual channel capability that your system has.

I got some information.
**this ram: Timetec Hynix IC 8GB Kit (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz PC3-10600 Unbuffered Non-ECC 1.5V CL9 2Rx8 Dual Rank 204 Pin SODIMM is compatibility with my system
**this other, would be the ram that I would like to buy: https://www.ebay.it/itm/8GB-2x4GB-S...903166?hash=item4b011816fe:g:UqoAAOSw--9dd5Yr
Hynix Dual Channel 8GB 2x4GB SODIMM DDR3 - 1600 mhz - PC3-12800s
In your opinion, based on the characteristics of the first ram, is the second type of ram compatible? Thank you

The RAM you are looking at buying seems similar enough in specs, just a bit faster so it should work. :)

Glad to hear the ram worked. :)

I have other question for LapTop Emachines E732ZG, this laptop have a motherbord HM55, this is compatibility with cpu i5-2540M ?? Thanks a lot
I don't think so as the socket is different with the 2540M than what is in the laptop:

However, that being said, it does seem like there are processor upgrades that might work according to this thread:

The main problem you can run across with a cpu upgrade is not socket or chipset support, but bios support. If the bios doesn't support it, it will not work. The other problem is cooling--you should not upgrade to a processor with a higher tdp than your original. This would limit you to an i5, but if an i5 works it will be a significant upgrade:
