RAM - DDR3 triple Channel Q

Hey Guys,

I'm currently running triple channel G.Skill memory in my build however one of the sticks is starting to not respond. So i've got a replacement motherboard (RAMPAGE GENE II) which is also triple channel and i'm just wondering. Do i need to use triple channel kits? or could I get 4 x 2G sticks? and not have to worry about screwing around in BIOS?

Yes you can use. But it is better if you use tripple channel kit.

Hi, I will only really notice the difference if i'm running benchmark won't I? Or is there that much of a step down?
