I’ve bought a ram in 2x8gb kit. The computer is entirely new.
I’ve set it up but screen didn’t showed up. On the motherboard the dram led was lit, and time to time the cpu flashed.
Afterward, I took off one of the rams and this way the screen worked without any problem. The led wasn’t glowing, though. I wasn’t paying full attention but I don’t think the cpu’s led was turned on.
After that, I tried all of the slots with that ram, and it worked perfectly. I’ve used the cpu’s gpu, because there isn’t videocard in the computer.
I took of the only remaining ram and used the other 8 GB one, but the problem was still the same. The dram led was on and the cpu’s led flashed sometimes.
I’ve already sent back the ram, in this case the problem is only with the ram, isn’t it? I hope my CPU isn't wrong too.
