Ram Disk Isnt Fast To Me

I have DDR3 4gb RAM, i used 1GB as a RAM disk, and i tried to see how fast it goes, and i cant see the differences actually:

I do have an old hardware if u say:
Intel pentium g620 2.6ghz (dual core)
xfx geforce 9600gso (as my nickname)

Good old times, when Windows 98 looked like a dream coming true. 😉 All newer Windows versions use all the available RAM for file cashing and because Windows knows much better, the you, what file will be needed next - 90% of it are Windows or shared files, not PS files - it handles that much better. A RAM disk may make sense for the PS temp/work dir, if you have 32GB RAM, but even then, a SSD would help much more.
