Hello everyone, I just finished a thread when I thought I had solved it, however trying out the RAM by hand I find the notch in my DDR4 RAM is too far in the left for my motherboard, although it clearly states on PcPartPicker and Aria PC it does support DDR4 RAM:

Have I made a silly error with some technical details unspecified in my mind or are there other problems:

i am thinking you didn't slide them in straight enough and now they are stuck in there crooked, it also hard to get in that way too. but you can do it and they will snap in place. you may want to take the whole mother board out of the case and realign the ram sticks with the ram slots to make sure they are in there correctly.

This is when it is placed in between the clips:

As you can see the gap in my ram is in a different place to the gap in the motherboard, does this mean I have the wrong RAM?

Hi

Can you put up a picture of this ram which shows the label with type or model

Did you buy it from crucial?
If you put in motherboard model they give the compatible ram and a guarantee that it works or swap for correct ram

If not from crucial or major supplier there is fake ram on the market possibly mislabeled. Ddr 4 instead of ddr 3

OK this is the story- I have correct DDR4 RAM, 8GB crucial RAM:

I also have this motherboard which on the Aria PC website and PcPartPicker is labelled as being supported with DDR4 RAM.

However the RAM slot is slightly to the right of where it needs to be to fit in the motherboard. Does this motherboard support DDR4 RAM or not? I thought it did by the labelling on the website you see...

I've been trying that for the last 2 hours, I'm really struggling lol! No it won't fit no matter the rotation, I'm starting to think PcPartPicker and Aria PC labelled the motherboard wrong
