Hi! As tittle says .. ¿Best ram for this CPU and mobo Z390 AORUS ULTRA ?

I been checking some benchmarks , forums , reddit and i don't know wich one i should buy. ¿What is the sweet spot? 3200 CL 14 , 3600 CL 15 and OC them? and .. 2x8? 4x4? Sorry but i haven't upgraded my computer since 6 years and i'm completly lost.

I want to spend 100-150€

Thank you!

2x8GB 3600 MHz CL15 will be better. Basically, you want to aim for the highest MHz and the lowest CAS Latency (CL). However, as speed in MHz increases, the latency, on average, also increases. What GPU do you have, and what will you be aiming to do, as with an i9 9900k you might even be better with 2x16GB.

Intel ram is, at most dual channel so a 2 x 8gb or 2 x 16gb kit is likely best.
It takes more resources to manage 4 sticks and 4 stick kits take more effort to match so a 2 stick kit is likely cheaper.

As to speed, Intel is not particularly sensitive to speed.
I would think 3200 would be fine and 3600 might be about the sweet spot.
Do not plan on overclocking ram.
Ram has been binned at is sold at the best speed available.
You might get lucky but probably not worth the effort.

Faster ram comes with higher latency negating some of the speed benefit.
At the same speed, lower latency is better.
If you divide the speed by latency you will get a figure of merit around 200 for most ram.
