I'm considering upgrading my ASUS DDR2 motherboard to an ASUS M4A78LT-M DDR3 motherboard.
Looking online for compatible RAM Crucial says that 1600MHz DDR3 is fine, but the motherboard specifications say:
"4 x DIMM, Max. 16GB, DDR3 1800(O.C.)/1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 Hz ECC, Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory - Dual Channel Memory Architecture"
I'm not sure how to overclock the RAM, or if the RAM recommended by Crucial would work straight away? Or should I just stick to 1333MHz RAM? Do I need to buy RAM that is 'overclockable'?
