Question Ram for b450m-hdv

I want to upgrade on ram to get 16gb of DDR4 3000mhz. Will a ryzen 3 2200g with a b450m-hdv be able to get optimal performance? If so what kit do you recommend?

DDR4-2933MHz would the max you'd be able to go. Ofc, your mileage can and will vary. Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for that motherbaord before you drop in the ram kit.
